Gillian Fox
After gradating with BA Hons Fine Art from Leeds in 2001, Gillian has concentrated her energy developing a career and knowledge of the business side of the
arts, working for four years promoting artists, galleries and art events to the media, based in both London and New York.
Within her practice, Gillian uses a variety of media to communicate recurring themes of isolation and a detachment from human experience. For the Hope Gallery,
Gillian will exhibit new work 'There’s a Party Going on and I’m Not Invited', an installation, 'People and Their Friends That I Don’t Know', a catalogue of found
photography and 'To the Outside World from the Inside Warmth', a series of paintings and preparatory drawings associated with the installation.
Gillian lives and works in London. She has exhibited in the UK and USA.
