Moorland Productions

Moorland Productions is an umbrella organisation for the visual art, publishing, video, photographic and fine art pactices of Kenneth G. Hay and Seetha A. Founded in 1996, their digital and multimedia work has been exhibited at the Centennial Venice Biennale (Transculture Pavillion, 1996) Vancouver (Presentation House, 1996) and film festivals in London, Manchester (with BANK), Berlin (The Unfair), and Czech Republic (Massaryck University, Galerie Brno, Galerie Mladych, and the Czech National Centre for Experimental Theatre).

In 2003-4, as part of the RADAR Project-Connecting Europe they worked on residencies and exhibitions in Venice (50th Venice Biennale, 2003). London (Deptford X, 2004), Cracow (Galerie Pryzmat, 2004) and Italia Future Telecom Centre (Venice 2004). Thematically, their work engages with social and historical issues, social integration, global tourism and European integration in the new Europe. Moorland Productions is particularly interested in engaging with an on-going and experimental set of art practices, which include painting, video/film, photography, sound, installation and digital imagery.

Kenneth is Professor of Contemporary Art Practice at the University of Leeds; Seetha is a freelance artist and filmmaker based in London.
