Phoebe Edgeley

Journeys and the urban landscape act as a starting point for installation based work in various mediums including drawing, painting and photography. Often a direct response to a space, Phoebe’s work explores the many ways of navigating the structures and networks of the urban environment through an expanded notion of drawing. In an age characterised by increasing globalisation, the blurring boundaries between notions of the made and natural landscape, and strategies of mapping, are recurrent themes.

Having recently graduated with an MA in Fine Art (Painting) from the Royal College of Art, Phoebe is currently based in London and working towards a teaching qualification at the Institute of Education.
