Rebecca has always questioned the blurring boundaries of art and design; whereas fashion is intended for the catwalk she transforms
fashion into a two-dimensional art form.
Using the medium of silk instead of canvas the compositions are made up of traditional processes used in Fashion: devoret, acid dying
and silkscreen exposure. The work based on poetry by Rumi celebrates the relationship between high fashion, art and literature.
